Step by Step Operation

Detection Tube Is Routed Inside the Hazard

A heat-sensitive detection tube is installed throughout the protected enclosure and positioned near the most probable ignition points, such as electrical terminations, relays, busbars, power supplies, or other heat-generating components.

System Remains Pressurized and Ready

Under normal conditions, the cylinder, valve assembly, and detection tube remain charged and pressurized, keeping the system in a continuous state of readiness without requiring external power or manual supervision.

Heat Exposure Causes Tube Rupture

When a fire develops inside the enclosure, localized heat causes the detection tube to soften and rupture at the hottest point. This ensures that detection occurs directly at the source of the hazard.

Pressure Drop Activates the Valve

The rupture of the tube creates an immediate pressure drop within the system. This pressure change actuates the DLP valve and initiates discharge of the extinguishing agent.

Agent Discharges Directly at the Fire Source

The extinguishing agent is released through the rupture point in the detection tube, directing suppression media precisely where the fire originates. This point-of-origin discharge enables rapid knockdown with minimal agent waste.

Fire Is Suppressed Automatically

The agent interrupts combustion and suppresses the fire before it can spread beyond the enclosure. Depending on the selected media, the system provides clean, residue-free suppression or specialized suppression suited to the application.

Applications

electric panel fire protection

Electrical Cabinets & Control Panels

Protects against electrical faults, short circuits, and overheating. Installs directly inside panels to automatically suppress fires before they spread, minimizing downtime and equipment loss.

Industrial Machinery & CNC Machines

Prevents costly fire damage from overheated motors, lubricants, or electrical malfunctions. Compact systems fit inside machinery housings and enclosures, offering rapid, localized suppression.

Battery Enclosures & Energy Storage

Addresses fire hazards caused by thermal runaway, electrical faults, and overheating in battery systems. Ensures fast-acting protection for lithium-ion or lead-acid battery cabinets.

Vehicle & Engine Compartments

Safeguards vehicles, generators, and mobile equipment from engine fires, fuel leaks, and electrical shorts. Ideal for buses, trucks, mining vehicles, and critical backup power systems.

Telecom Cabinets & Outdoor Enclosures

Provides round-the-clock protection for remote telecom, data, and power enclosures, especially in unmanned or harsh environments where response time is critical.

Modular Data Centers

Modular data centers continue to grow in popularity due to their scalability, deployment speed, and predictable performance. These compact, high-density environments house critical IT infrastructure, and with that comes a concentration of electrical and thermal hazards.
